Approach:

• Develop how...
First of all, I need to surf the internet to get a CSS template in order for me to have a platform to start my website development. After getting an appropriate template [I choose to use a free template called “Eclipse”], I shall determine how many option I should provide on the top of my developing website in order to fulfil my lecturer assignment requirements. Then, I shall start with the amendment on the free template with content about this assignment as well as relevant images.

Besides, I also need to link the webpage to my blog so that people who view my website can drop me a comment if they got any to speak out. After that, I need to put my contact information in my website so that those net surfers can contact me if there is any problem with my website. Then, I am going to use Flash player to create some flash as addition to my webpage because I am planning to create blinking wording in all the webpage. It may act as the welcome blinking wording to attract people attention and to stay longer in my website.

• How do you plan to put images on your website, layout etc...
I plan to put all my tutorial exercise images as well as my assignment #1 image into my designed website so that I can share what I had learnt and done with the subject, Digital Media, MMB2014 for this tri-mester of 08/09. All the images will be arrange according to the sequence of tutorial which means it will start with the first tutorial output and it shall end with the assignment #1, the merdeka day postcard. As for “About Me” section, I will upload my personal picture onto my design website so that those people who surf my webpage will stand a chance to get to know me better as the web moderator.

Roles and Responsibilities:

In order to make this assignment a success, I need to adhere to my primary plan accordingly in order to avoid any unexpected incident. This is a great opportunity for me to learn how to manage my time as well as my lifestyle schedule so that in the future I can apply what I had learnt now. I need to make sure that the webpage I design and develop according to the requirement by my lecturer as well as my tutor as that I won’t out of the topic and the guideline of this assignment #2.

Comment:

After a few attempt on design and develop the template that I choose, I found out that it is a hard job at the beginning of the process as I am just a fresh person to the world of “Dreamweaver”. But after the whole process of learning as well as applying, I found out that it is actually depends on the person who doing this assignment whether you willing to face the difficulty and challenge or you choose to hide from this responsibility. If you are here to take this job up, you may end up with learn quite a lot of new things as well as making a lot of fun in the learning process. But if you choose to get rid of it, you may only end up with paying someone to perform the task for you and you learn nothing after all. Thank you to Mdm. Lydia for your kind guidance throughout the whole course.

MMB2014 Assignment #1

Then I need to add in some effect in order to make it REAL and look like a Merdeka Celebration Invitation post card. *- Comment: - From this assignment, I realised that I learnt a lot of technique and method without myself knowing until I apply it when I am doing my assignment 1. Hopefully I can still using those skills in the future when I am working. Thank you.

Comeon!~ Shall I Start with My Postcard now?? :)

~Original Picture~ Image 0007!~

Cut off the firework from Image 0009 by using the "Lasso Tool" as i need it to "decorate" my background image later on~
Ta lang~ After added onto my background image, do several border editing with "Eraser Tool" in order to make it fit into my image.
Here we come with another firework!~ With the same technique and method~~
Cut off the Bolehland Flag, again with the help of "Lasso Tool"~ This is for me to deco my background building later on!~
See!~ By using the "Switch Between Free Transform and Wrap Modes" tools[which require user to drag, pull or push =p], i manage to "fix" our national flag ngam ngam into one of the twin tower building corner.
HoHoHo...applying the same technique to fix another flag onto the building wall~~
Talang~~ I had finished fixing all the flag onto the building accordingly. [Not random apply] If you look at the clearly, you may discover that i fix it alternately with one row of window and follow by one flag~
Open up the image 0001 and drag and put it onto my background image. I am trying to use this image as special effect underneath my background image's National flag.

Then, I am trying to adjust its position and by using the "Switch Between Free Transform and Warp Modes", i manage to apply it accordingly to the size of national flag.
Isn't it?~~
Applying the "Gradient Overlay" in order to add in some special effect onto the additional image. I am adjusting the current layer level as well as the underlying layer.
Talang~~ After a few attempts with trial and error!~
Okay, now i am going to add in some text as invitation to the countdown of Merdeka Celebration at Petronas Twin Towers there. By applying what i had learnt during the tutorial time, i manage to get my wordings with some special effect such as "Drop Shadow" and "Bevel and Emboss".

On my way for the addtional of "Satu Bangsa" text.
Here we go with the finale "Satu Negara" wording on my image.
Teng Teng Teng!~~ This is my final outcome of a series of attempt.

MMB2014 Tutorial #6

The Original photo...."Background"

First thing i did for this tutorial is creating a layer named "Marble". Using the CLOUD effect, then apply HUE and SATURATION to add a colour to it. Then, create another new layer named "Back Bump".

Created another layer named "Bump 2" which was almost the same as "Back Bump" just added in NOISE effect on it.

Followed by the creation of "Stone" layer.

This is another new layer named "Bark".

Followed by the last layer that we're going to prepare, the "Wallpaper".

My final art work after all kind of editing and adding effect.

Here we go!!!

In this tutorial 6, what i learnt the most was how to use the function of RENDER with applying Clouds or Fibers on the background of the photo itself. Other than that, i also learnt how to use the Lighthing Effect which i can make my photo like a spotlight is actually screening on the photo and use the technique of MOTION BLUR to create a wonderfull shadow on my photo.

It was a pretty amazing effect that i think it maybe usefull for me in the future during the preparation of the Assignment 1, the National Day of Malaysia.

MMB2014 Tutorial #5

~Choosen Picture, "Yogaman"~

Create a new layer and name it as "Flames", draft the shape of flame by using Lasso Tool. After that use Paint Brush with 0% hardness to colour the surrounding of the flame. Then, use the Reqtangular Marquee Tool to select the flame, then go to Filter and select Blur, choose Gaussion Blur and set it as 1.3pixel.
Un-choose the background, use Rectangular Marquee Tool to surround the flame and proceed to menubar, Edit and choose Define Brush Preset. Save the pattern as flame.
Select the background layer again together with de-select of "Flames". Click Ctrl+D to de-select the flame. Create a new layer call Final Flames.
Select Paint Brush, choose the pattern of paint brush that we created just now. Change the hardness to 0% and the master diameter to 40pixel. Create the flames on the yogaman's hand.
Create another new layer and name as Colour. Use Reqtangular Marquee Tool and simply make a rectangular above of the hand. Choose the desire colour and go to menu bar, choose Filter, select Render and pick Clouds. After that re-size it to match the flame size and set the colour level by click Ctrl+L. Then click Ctrl with a single click of mouse on the Final Flames layer. Click Shift+Ctrl+I, then click Backspace to fill in the colour on my flames.
Then, use the Reqtangular Marquee Tool again to select the flames. Go to menu bar, select Filter, choose Liquify. Select Twirl Clockwise Tool on the right hand tool bar. Use it to turn the flames more to real.
Re-do the same steps on the right hand of the yogaman to his left hand.
Talang~~ After implemented the same steps, the picture is now look like this.

Create two new layer and name it as Background Flame and Background Colour respectively. Background Flame is use to draft the flame by using Paint Brush whereas the Background Colour layer is use to colour the design. By implementing the same steps as for the flames on both hand, we can create another effect on the picture.
Use Eraser Tool with 0% hardness to re-shape the drafted flames.
After colourization process with the aid of Paint Brush.
Create another new layer and name it as Smoke. Use the Lasso Tool to circulate the area that i wish to create the smoky effect on the picture.
After finish circulate the desire area, hold on Alt+backspace to make the selected area turns white. After that click Ctrl+D to de-select it. Then, we add in another effect on the smoke by apply the Gaussion Blur on it with 10.0pixel.

Click on the "Lock Transparent Pixels" to prevent unnecessary changes when we use the Filter effect. Go to menu bar, select Filter, choose Render and then Clouds. After that go to change the smoke to white smoke by choosing "Screen".

Use Eraser Tool to erase some of the white smoke in order to look more real. Then click Ctrl+L to add on special effect such as brightness or noise and etc.
Use the Eraser Tool again to make some small changes on the smoky area to make it looks "Real".
Finally my edit picture is settle!! And this is my work. How is it? Nice ?? =p

MMB2014 Tutorial #4

~Original Photo~

Select the ink vectors layer, then click the Add a Layer Style with the [fx] sign, select Gradient Overlay and change the gradient colour and style.
Talang~~ After that select inner shadow to create some effect on the wordings.
Followed by drop shadow for the outer layer effect.

Proceed to outer glow to change the colour of the boder surround the wordings.

Followed by bevel and emboss to set the contour.
Talang~ Finished the first phase of developing. Click and drag it to style to create a new style up there .Named it as "Aqua Viva 1".
Am my work look good?
Now, continue with "decorating" the dot-dot(s) besides the wording.

Just select the layer and choose the style that we saved just now "Aqua Viva 1" . It is quite easy as we just need to select and click.
Change the bottom dot's colour to my desire colour~!
Right now we de-select all the layers just now and choose the background layer only.
Go to channel and drag the green layer to duplicate a copy. After that we create a gaussian blur on it in order to create a slightly blur effect on the photo background.
Click Ctrl+L to edit the levels elements.

Go to Edit menu and select "Define Pattern" to save it and name it as "Rust".
Ok, now we are going to modify a bit the upper dot with texture so that it looks more fantastic.
Go to bevel and emboss, choose texture and change the elements according to own favour.
After that create another new style by drag it onto the style layer on the top there like what we did just now. Name the dot with texture and "Aqua Viva 2 Texture".
Select and background layer one again and use the Rectangle tool and choose the shape layers to select the whole background. Once you select it, the background will turn black.

Go to choose the layer that we saved just now, "Aqua Viva 2 Texture" to create a beautiful background on the photo.
Go to add layer mask to create a layer mask on the background layer.
Resume the step of using rectangle tools and shape layers twice to create two different new layer in order to make different effect on the photo background. Use paint brush to create the effect and go to bleding option, tick the blend interior effects as group and chnage to fill opacity. After that use eraser to shape the border and settle!!
